My recent stay near the National Mall was cozy. LOVED the spa facility! Would return despite the tiny room. The spa is better than the photos show.

Great stay in D.C.! Awesome views of the monument, central location for sightseeing, and clean rooms with friendly staff. Some noise, but nothing major. The restaurant had delicious food. Just wished for a more spacious bathroom setup. A delightful experience with fantastic service.

The hotel went above and beyond for our anniversary with a bottle of bubbly in the room and a perfect location near the Mall and museums, with bikes for easy exploring. Even though we didn't try the hotel's dining options, the rooftop bar was a hit . The only slight downside was the rooftop view attracting a crowd, but that's more about folks wanting the gram-worthy shot than a real issue 🥂.

The hotel was an enjoyable base for enjoying a modern area, next to government buildings and the center. The rooms were perfect and immaculate with all the necessities of a hedonist kept by the exceptional staff. Food was superb and I have nothing but best memories from this trip.

Omg, 🤩 the view of the white house from the rooftop bar was so amazing! the rooms were cozy but the service was a bit off - our room alarm got set to 6:02 am as a 'prank' 😅. Overall, a nice stay.

it made our trip to washington a pleasant experience. we loved it, the hotel was iconic and had great staff and location. bars and restaurants were right next to the place. the airport was 0.5 miles away.

This hotel is funky and overall clean, has helpful staff and perfect location right across the Whitehouse. Offers excellent service and good food.

The local eats near The Washington Hotel are like taking a bite of history. The Hamilton's dish-up game is 0.17 km away, ready to satisfy your cravings. Let's not forget POV for those rooftop vibes, a mere hop of 0.01 km. The vibe at The Occidental—0.09 km—turns dining into a delightful adventure.

The lack of personnel around meant some bumps in the road during dining adventures.

except for the spa and check-in, staff was really very friendly, fond of children and helpful. food in the restaurant pinea was very good, especially the breakfast.

at check-in we were told that the room would not be available for an hour. then it was already 3:20pm (check-in from 3:00pm). i asked for vouchers for my family and me for something to drink, i got some. my wife had to breastfeed our youngest, she was told she could breastfeed in the spa. result was: there was no table available in the roof-top bar, not because everything was full, no, half the tables were empty but with a 'reserved' sign. my wife was told at the entrance to the spa that children were not allowed in the spa. after a long discussion we finally got one of the free tables up in the bar. my wife finally breastfed in the hallway in front of the spa. at 5:00pm the room was finally ready for occupancy. only on renewed inquiry we got vouchers for 1x breakfast. all in all not a good start into our vacation! travelling with family (1 baby, 2 small children) is not stress-free anyway, then you don't need something like that. especially not in a hotel of this price category.

comfort of the rooms and cleanliness. the bathroom was big and very comfortable. room with 2 queen size beds was very nice but without natural light or view because it faces the center of the building, still very comfortable.

That a woman at the front desk misdirected us and we took an Umber to the wrong place. She made no effort to help us as tourists.

We had a blast rooting for the home team at the amazing stadium close to the hotel. The atmosphere was electric, and the whole family loved cheering on our favorite teams. Plus, the hotel's location made it easy to get to the stadium and back, adding even more excitement to our trip.

In my wife's opinion, a designated play area for kids in the hotel would have been a great addition for families with children.

high price can probably only be explained by the proximity to the white house and presence of the bar on the roof.

This hotel is something else! the service here is superb. the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable. From helping with reservations to setting our alarm at 6:02 am , they were always there for us. the bar and lounge area were fantastic, offering a great view of the Washington Monument. the in-room breakfast was a better value than what we had on the patio. the location, oh my, you can't beat it! You're within walking distance to major attractions like the National Mall, the White House, and more. Plus, the spa & wellness centre here is out of this world, with top-notch treatments that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Just a small note, the menu at the restaurant could have a bit more variety. It was good, but a few more options would have been nice.

The location here is TOP-NOTCH! Being right next to the Whitehouse and close to all the must-see spots in DC is a major win. And that rooftop bar, oh man, the view of the Whitehouse and the city skyline is something special, for sure! Loved chilling there! The spa lounge and body scrub option were a great way to unwind after a day of exploring, plus the full-body massage was just what I needed. Was a bit bummed that not all the staff seemed well-informed, but one of the team was super helpful. 🌟

The staff was welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The only downside was the exorbitant prices for food and drinks onsite, but there were affordable dining options within a 15-minute walk. Overall, a lovely experience that I would happily repeat.

Stayed Friday-Monday over Memorial Day Weekend. Hotel had amazing staff, modern rooms, and great location. Rooftop and patio bar/restaurant were spectacular. Valet parking worth every penny. Plenty of amazing sights, museums, bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. No crowds in the area the whole weekend. Such a fun and delightful stay!

I had a blast exploring the quirky rooftop bar with its stunning view of the monumental city! The nearby eateries were top-notch, especially the live music spot. The Root Cellar was a hidden gem for sharing yummy treats. The artsy lobby and stylish room were the cherry on top. The wine bar satisfied my inner sommelier, and the spa was pure bliss. a prime spot for a fabulous adventure.

I always return for perfect stays with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a bar. Friendly staff helped with food delivery on my first visit. The hotel has fitness and spa services, flat-screen TV, and a business centre. I'm excited to return for New Year!

Plus, the hotel offers a fantastic buffet breakfast, allowing me to start each day with a delicious meal. The staff were amazing and their hospitality made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a complimentary welcome drink, and the front desk staff were always attentive to any needs or questions I had. The rooms were spacious, bright, and filled with top-notch amenities like a flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and in-room safe. The hotel also offers a range of leisure facilities, including a spa and wellness center where I indulged in a relaxing massage.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near major tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Additionally, the rooftop bar and restaurant provided a unique experience with stunning views of the city skyline. the food served at the rooftop restaurant was of superb quality, and the service was exceptional.

One of the things I didn't particularly like about my stay was the staff at the rooftop bar. They seemed rude and incompetent, creating an unpleasant atmosphere.

However, the room size and lack of amenities like a comprehensive breakfast offering can be improved for a more comfortable experience.
